What Texas Actually Requires

Your Hours Reach TDLR Within One Business Day
Finishing a course is not the same as satisfying the requirement. The hours only count once they appear on your TDLR record, and putting them there is the provider's job, not yours. A provider that sits on the paperwork can turn a completed course into a late renewal.
